COMCAST VOLUNTEERS TO CLEAN UP
EL CONCILIO CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER IN STOCKTON
AS PART OF SIXTH ANNUAL COMCAST CARES DAY

Hundreds of Local Employees to Participate As Nearly 1,400 Comcast Employees and Families Do Volunteer Work at 12 Central California Sites

Saturday, October 7, 2006, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

WHAT:
Comcast Cares Day – Local Comcast employees will spend the day repainting walls, sprucing up the grounds and planting at the El Concilio Child Development Center.

This volunteer effort is part of the sixth annual Comcast Cares Day, one of the largest single-day corporate volunteer efforts in the United States, that will bring together approximately 30,000 Comcast employees, their families and friends in 34 states to help make a difference in their communities. Last year, Comcast employees took part in almost 300 community projects nationwide, donating 180,000 volunteer hours of service—the equivalent of 86 years of service.

Photo Opportunities: Comcast volunteers and children planting shrubs, painting, weeding flower beds and sprucing up interior areas.
